Skywatch Friday from Roanoke, Virginia

We'd never know how high we are,
till we are called to rise;
and then, if we are true to plan,
our statures touch the sky-

My first time to your blog. Beautiful picture, that blue seems to go on forever. And you've placed that moon beautifully in the sky ;-)
All of your photos are really quite beautiful. I loved the church photos. I'll be back.

I love it, sounds so inadequate.

The quote is really lovely, too.

Great picture, the cloud seems even higher than the moon. I read the story of first settlers from England at Roanoke, amazing and sad read.
