Two Views from Assisi, Italy for Skywatch Friday

This is a view from the Piazza Santa Chiara in Assisi, Italy.
This tree was in the Piazza at the Assisi train station. I loved how they trimmed it up and of course the moss growing on it added a little extra something and, the branches are reaching toward the beautiful sky above. Enjoy.

Be sure to take a peek at other SKYWATCH FRIDAY posts this week. This meme is hosted by: Klaus | Sandy | Ivar | Wren | Fishing Guy| Louise who do a fab job. We had over 330 participants in Sky Watch last week.

That first shot looks like a soft pastel. Nice captures Erin. Have a great weekend.

I love those shots. I am with Gaelyn, I love the softness.

The perspective on the tree shot is terrific.

Tornado warning in Bedford. Are you near there...? Be mindful of weather, take cover with any nearby warnings.

Those beautiful Italian skies. The tree looks like a gnome reaching toward the Heavens.

These are gorgeous!
Have to agree about the softness of the first and I like the dramatic feel of the bare branches.

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

Your dreamy Assisi picture really makes me want to go there.
They didn't leave much on the tree but I suppose it will be green soon.

I don't know why I live here because in my heart of hearts I long to be in Italy! Mystical, magical, old, romatic Italy!

I had to do a double and then a triple look at that tree before I determined that it was a tree. I love your photographs.

You make a cutted tree look so fine and glowing. Colours shined so beautifully.

Erin, fantastic snaps. The lone leafless tree in front of the building is also good.

Beautiful, Erin. The first photo looks like a water painting. And the stark "fingers" of the tree reaching up pulls the eye towards the sky. Excellent contribution for SWF. Enjoy the weekend.

Such great shots. I feel a little sad for the tree thought. That much pruning is not natures way. MB

Great photos and i love how you captured that tree.

I am glad to hear that you adopted a kitten. So many people get kitties and then forget to have them spayed or neutered till it is too late So sad as there are way too many cats
