So beautiful and so many memories. I spent most of my teenage summer days at 32nd street in Newport Beach and most of the summer nights all over Balboa. Great pictures!
WOW, what spectacular photos! I simply love everything on those photos, beautiful sunny day, lovely blue water, waves...I envy those people who enjoy all those beauty. :-)
These images are out of the world beautiful! How did you manage to get the unique perspective? I am smitten. I want to go there right now, lack of sleep notwithstanding! ;-)
Now images like these are the reasons why people from all over the globe come to this state. You did an outstanding job in these captures. I love them all.
What a wonderful series, and what a contrast with my dark skies. Your images make me long for summer, but for now it seems to be autumn overhere. Enjoy your weekend!
Erin, your photos are beckoning me to just drive up there. I have been wanting to buy the fresh catch crabs, but I have to be there at 6:00am to beat the crowd.
Wow Erin, these are picture postcard perfect. Beautiful shots, you got some great captures of the waves and the colors were stunning. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comments. Have a great weekend.
All your photos are lovely, Erin. It seem you have a true love for the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean and miss living in California. And I can't say that I blame ya... The west coast is quite unique and has it all, from the sea to the mountains and desert...
Your photos remind me of the beach movies I used to watch as a teen in Okla. I always thought I would end up on the west coast- surprise, I live on the east coast.
Beaches...they've caught our imagination since the beginning of time, I think...that and mountains...great work. Congratulations on Post of the Day nomination at David's Sandi
I swear I commented here yesterday - those photographs are so beautiful, I could not have dreamed about them! Whatever, I am back: Congratulations on David's Post of the Day Award. Truly well deserved! Thank you for the immense pleasure these images gave me! :-)

Fabulous fotos...!!! My favourite is the 1st pic, with the almost snowy white contrast and bright blue. It's mind blowing. Congrats for nomination to POTD.
Great shots and attractive way of processing. P.S Thanks for your comment on my paint exercise. Curious : did you also recognize your photo ? (of course the painting is a simplified version of it, with just some lines).
Just stunning photos. If there is one thing I miss about living in New Mexico...it is seeing the ocean and experiencing all the sights, smells and touch that it offers. I grew up along the California coast...when it wasn't as crowded as it is now....and not lined with all the oil rigs. Great memories. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
