Morning Walk in Saint Louis....My World

>

On one of our morning walks around downtown Saint Louis we came across this little place. The view(s) were perfect so, we stopped for a bite to eat. It was quite delicious.

Be sure stop in and take a peek at other's My World posts this week. I so enjoy seeing what everyone has been doing. It's one of my favorite photograph memes.

That place is lovely finding among downtown skyscrapers. I like all the photos that you posted but the second photo is my favourite. I like the view of the street from the angle you took the photo. It really is beautiful and very attractive! hugs

Great shots, I love the red sign in the window and the pastry tempt my sweet tooth. We've been to Saint Louis but not downtown. I see I missed an interesting spot.

How I wish I could visit your world! Through the blog world one gets a personal insight into other places that is denied to tourists. Seeing a place through someone's eyes who loves it, endears it to the heart.

Thank you for your touching comment my dear.

There are many museums and attractions in the city. The St. Louis Art Museum, located in the City's premier park, Forest Park, and dating from the 1904 World's Fair, houses an impressive array of modern art and ancient artifacts, with an extensive collection of master works of several centuries, including paintings by Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Pissarro, Picasso, and many others. Forest Park is bigger than New York's Central Park, and it also is home to the St. Louis Zoo, the Muny, and many other attractions. The privately owned City Museum offers a variety of interesting exhibits, including several large faux caves and a huge outdoor playground. It also serves as a meeting point for St. Louis's young arts scene.
